As a Licensed Marriage and Family Pastoral Therapist, Dr. Pandel is experienced in a variety of counseling areas.  He specializes in Marriage and Family Therapy and has a great deal of experience working with children and young adults. 

Significant research and practice has occurred in the treatment of Anger Management, Depression, Marital Relationships, and Oppositional Defiance Disorder.

PCCS does not bill insurance companies directly but does provide clients with a letter verifying services received for client submission to the insurance company for reimbursement if applicable.  For clients whose insurance does not cover christian counseling, or for those whom do not have insurance coverage, rates are on a sliding scale, taking into account your individual financial circumstance.  Also, partnership with your local church may be an option as well.

Pandel Consulting and Counseling Services is exempt from licensure under Virgina Statute § 54.1-3501.  While there are some benefits to secular recognition, it is the belief of PCCS that often such intervention significantly hinders the therapeutic process.
